Course Title: Management Systems for Managers
Overview
This is a course to really get your management engaged with your quality (and other) management systems! This half-day workshop program is designed to develop a common understanding of modern quality, safety and/or environmental management with your whole management / supervisor team.
It covers the three critical aspects that organisations need to manage well to leverage the value they can extract from their Management Systems:
- Management systems as a key means of managing the risks in the organisation;
- The need for a strong fit between Systems, Strategy and Due Diligence and the role of Audit in this;
- Why involvement of your people is so important and the cultural issues that can you need to focus on to build acceptance and enthusiasm.
Objectives
A key objective of this course is to build consensus, support and understanding amongst your management group, of Management Systems, Risk Management, and the critical People / Organisational Cultural Issues that can make or break your efforts.
Participants will learn a means of ensuring the relevance of their systems by focusing them on the risks that can "keep them awake at night".
They will learn how to integrate their Management System into the overall goals and objectives in their business. The role of auditing is examined - the weaknesses in conventional auditing approaches and how our Positive Audit. methodology can overcome these to deliver better outcomes for both your people AND the organization, and avoid leaving a group of disgruntled employees in its wake.
You will discover the critical organisational dimensions that your organisation needs to focus on in order to obtain "buy in" from people.
