Course Title: Balanced Scorecard
BALANCED SCORECARD
Is your performance measurement lopsided? Is it dominated by lagging, usually financial indicators?
Or does it focus on the things which will drive performance into the future?
Do you need to improve your objectives deployment in your ISO9001 or AS-9000 system?
The Balanced Scorecard is much more than a means of measuring performance. It can articulate your strategy, activate your people, and align your organization, but only if you design and implement it effectively.
Through experience, Quality Award Partners® has developed a model for developing and implementing your Scorecard, that coordinates and aligns your organisation's efforts to achieve your strategic objectives.

Overview
The Balanced Scorecard is increasingly seen as a powerful means of not only developing a cohesive set of KPIs, but also as a good way of managing performance to achieve strategic outcomes. Did you know that it also provides a perfect fit with the key new requirements of ISO 9001:2000?
This workshop will not only provide you with an understanding of the methodology of the Balanced Scorecard approach to performance measurement; it will also guide you through the first stages of actually implementing the model in your own organisation! Download an explanatory presentation from our website at www.qap.com.au.
Objectives
This program will give you the understanding you need to establish a way forward to implement the Balanced Scorecard in your own organisation. You will develop the strategy map, and establish the initial set of high-level measures.
Content
This workshop is provided in a number of stages:
- The preworkshop stage consists of a review of your current organisational strategic framework by the presenter. This identifies the current level of organisational strategic clarity, and establishes and confirms the development program and workshop framework.
- A one-day workshop provides you with an understanding of the overall Balanced Scorecard model, and develops the initial draft of the strategy map (the essential base document for the deployment into your organisation). An initial 'cut' of high level KPIs are developed at this time.
- Follow up contact is maintained to ensure that the development and deployment program and processes are established.
1. Note that through or formal relationship with the Infogenius company, a software product for developing a dashboard approach can be introduced.
