Consulting History
Mike’s expertise is in the application of rigorous analytical and Quality methodologies to achieve strategic and sustainable risk control and process improvement, in the context of broader business management. These techniques have been applied to processes in the fields of local government, automotive, aerospace, batch production, consulting, energy, health, heavy engineering, information technology, recycling, service industry, teaching, telecommunications, textiles and transport/storage industries.
Mike is an empathic trainer and facilitator, able to engage people from the boardroom to the shop floor. He works both throughout Australasia and abroad and has completed successful consulting assignments over a period of 15 years.
His IT skills are often sought to enhance clients' operations and develop applications to facilitate savings using advanced analytical techniques.
Mike is a Sessional lecturer at Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (1978 -) in the Master of Engineering Quality programme. His subject areas include Quality Leadership and Process Improvement.
