Consulting History
Jeff's career base encompasses senior technical and management roles in a number of large and complex organisations. He has subsequently built a solid history of working with a diverse range of organisations.
Jeff’s expertise is in the application of Risk Management, Compliance Management and Quality methodologies to achieve strategic and sustainable business improvement, in the context of broader business management. This embraces business development assignments (covering a wide field such as strategy development, operational alignment, organisational restructuring, practical process improvement, and performance measurement), management system development and audit (to ISO 9000 and QS-9000/TS16949 compliance codes), and business excellence criteria.
Jeff isa sought-after speaker, an effective trainer and facilitator, qualified within the national competency framework, and is able to bring both strategic thinking and down-to-earth practical application to his consulting assignments, to achieve measurable outcomes with clients. He works both throughout Australasia and abroad and has completed an extensive range of successful consulting assignments. This has extended from operational levels to board advice and facilitation. He is a senior auditor with experience in a broad range of industries.
As a certification auditor with extensive experience over many years, he applies the powerful Positive Audit® approach, to deliver thorough and insightful results. He is particularly adept at making audit and the management systems relevant at senior management levels, through his engaging and challenging style.
Jeff is a Sessional lecturer at Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (1990-) in the Master of Engineering Quality programme. His subject areas include Management Systems and Performance Measurement (based on the Balanced Scorecard model).
