Developed over a 10 year period, Positive Audit® is the modern way to conduct audits. Audits of the 1980s and 1990s typically relied on gap analysis and enforcement approaches, that were fault-seeking and blame oriented. These approaches can be highly destructive to organisational culture, and can create cultures of concealment and poor cooperation. Sadly, they still exist, and are commonly taught and endorsed by registration bodies.
Positive Audit® applies a totally different approach, based on risk management principles and organisational learning theory. System integrity is confirmed through enhanced auditor technique and the confirmation of effective risk management controls. It is the perfect complement to Advent ManageR®.
